How a vendor gets on this site

Every photographer and videographer here was invited. Nobody can pay their way onto the list. Vendors on it do pay a membership fee to be here, and we would rather say so plainly than leave you guessing.

What we look for

• Complete wedding galleries. The ceremony in harsh noon light and the reception in a dim hall say more than any sunset portrait.
• Consistent work across several weddings, recent ones included.
• Reviews from real couples, wherever they are posted.
• Clear packages and a written contract.
• A promise to reply to inquiries within 24 hours.

Why the list stays short

Each price range and style has only a few people in it. Looking for documentary photography under $2,000? You should find two or three good options and be able to compare them in an evening.

Featured listings

Some members pay more to be featured: a larger card at the top of the list, showing more of their work. Featured vendors and venues pay for that placement, and they are always labeled. Being featured never gets anyone onto the list in the first place. Nobody takes a cut of your bookings, and your contact details are never sold. An inquiry goes only to the business you sent it to.

If something goes wrong

If you hire someone you found here and it goes badly, tell us at hello@weddingselpaso.com. We will talk to them, and if it is part of a pattern, they come off the list. After your day we send one short email asking how your vendors were. That is how the list stays honest.
